For the second year in a row, Vermont will host the Feast of Tabernacles! The “Green Mountain State” will be ablaze with Fall colors as we keep the Feast at the Grand Summit Resort, atop Mount Snow. The Grand Summit offers a variety of accommodation options, most with kitchenettes (see our accommodations page for details). The breath-taking views will be matched by warm fellowship from brethren throughout the Northeast, who will be organizing a number of family-friendly activities throughout the Feast. Just down the mountain and into the Deerfield Valley lie the sleepy villages of Wilmington and Dover, offering restaurants ranging from fine-dining to family-style to rustic taverns, with names like “The Village Roost”, “Dover Forge”, “Cask and Kiln”, and “Old Red Mill Inn”. If you’re looking for a way to spend an afternoon with family and brethren, the local wineries and craft breweries are popular, as well as horseback-riding, golfing, or simply taking a drive along scenic Vermont Highway 100.
Mount Snow is located in southern Vermont, twenty-five miles west of Brattleboro. Drive time from Albany, NY, is just over an hour. From Hartford, the drive is approximately two hours. These two cities are the closest airline arrival locations, both with easy drives to the site.
