One of the most famous landmarks in the entire world which is set in a region of outstanding natural beauty as well as man-made attractions awaits you for the 2017 Feast of Tabernacles! The spectacular Niagara Falls are more than a view—to stand at the rail beside the thundering water is an experience you will not forget. Charming smaller communities, such as Niagara-on-the-Lake, once awarded the title “Canada’s Prettiest Town,” offer much to see and do, including historical sites and monuments and fascinating shops. The Niagara region has restaurants featuring almost any kind of food you could desire, from urban fine dining to small cafés, from family eateries to vineyard restaurants in Niagara’s Wine Region. The Niagara Escarpment, a UNESCO World Biosphere Reserve site, provides hiking trails and beautiful vistas of the winding river. Within a short drive of the Feast site, you can race friends and family at the local Go-Kart track, step back in time at old Fort George, and enjoy a meal almost 800 feet above the Falls in the Skylon Tower. Along the Niagara River Parkway you will find one of the largest floral clocks in the world. Marineland, a theme park with water shows, is a short drive outside the city, and a two-hour drive will take you to Toronto, Canada’s largest city, with even more attractions.
The Americana Resort, a short 10-minute drive from the Falls and the U.S. border, is the location for services. On-site restaurants include Boston Pizza restaurant, a snack bar, and coffee shop. The resort offers a range of room styles, including rooms with two double beds, two queen beds, one- and two-bedroom suites, and even spa suites! There is also a 25,000 square foot waterpark with a retractable roof, a wave pool, a waterslide, and a kiddie pool.
We hope you will celebrate the Feast of Tabernacle with us in Niagara in 2017!
